Even though it might seem a little too premature to start bathing suit shopping (I know I’m not ready) it never hurts to start planning ahead! Target is making a pretty big splash with their recent swimwear collection. From monokinis (yes that’s an actual word) to bikinis, they offer a wide variety of swimwear for all shapes and sizes. Oh…and the days where you thought a one piece couldn’t be sexy are over! Here are some of my favorite pieces from their swimwear collection along with some fun accessories (including floppy hats, coverups, and beach totes) to finish off your beach look just in time for that getaway you’ve been dreaming about.
And if you’re like me and need some motivation, here are some quick tips on how to choose the right suit for you:
- Know your body type – are you…petite, large busted, pear shaped, etc?
- Focus on the positive – accentuate body parts that you’re most proud of
- Try on multiple suits – this will increase your chances of finding one that works
- Bring a friend – every girl could use a second opinion and some moral support
