Target Style: Dip Dye Trend

With spring quickly approaching, it’s time to start thinking about how to incorporate some fun trends into your wardrobe. I’ve partnered up with Target to bring you a series of posts to cover their spring styles and trends this season. First up, the dip dye trend. Dip dye is a great way start introducing a bit of color into your life. Sometimes referred to as ombre, dip dye pieces can also be seen in hand bags (love this denim tote) and even home decor pieces.

When visiting Target this weekend to check out their dip dye pieces, I immediately gravitated towards these sweatshirts. They’re a fun way to add pops of color to your outfit and not to mention they are perfect for lounging in too.  I decided pair my pink dip dye sweatshirt with an all white  ensemble and some sparkly heels. You can also pair it with a pair of blue jeans or cute gray sweat pants. Either way – dressed up or down, you really can’t go wrong. Be sure to check out other dip dye pieces at Target.

I love that sweatshirt. I bought the same one Saturday and guess what. It’s now on sale this week! I may use the PA to apply toward a second color! It’s so comfy.

Very cute! Silly question though…Is there a difference between dip dye and ombre??

That is not a silly question! I was confused myself…but after a little research they are interchangeable! :)

I found you through Refinery29 and I’m so glad I did!! Your style is amazing and proves, unequivocally, that being fashionable has nothing to do with money.

I love how you styled the dip dye, as mentioned before in one of the other comments, styling it with classic white skinnies and classic Chanel just makes the color pop. I love how you’re so daring with your wardrobe (I’m more of a black, charcoal grey and khaki kinda girl) but your use of color almost makes me want to experiment and head away from my usual muted tones. Love it!
