Imagine sipping a drink from your balcony at the Four Seasons Nevis watching this beautiful sunset. Located in the West Indies, Nevis is a short hop from San Juan airport. I had heard about this charming island, known for its hospitable people and rum, and so I planned a short holiday at the beautiful Four Season’s Resort in Nevis.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome cocktail and quickly whisked to our beautiful suite overlooking the ocean. We planned an itinerary that would include sampling the properties fine dining, spa, fitness activities, and it’s beautiful beaches.
From private resident villas to luxury suites, there are tons of room types to choose from. We opted for an ocean view room so we could wake up and have coffee in the am while watching the sunrise.
We enjoyed fresh seafood everyday. From lobster to the catch of the day, there are so many healthy options. Our favorite was Mango restaurant on the resort, an open-air and waterfront restaurant, features Caribbean Rim Cuisine and the 101 Rums Bar. With spectacular views of St. Kitts across the Caribbean Sea, Mango is also a perfect spot to catch a spectacular Nevis sunset. Can’t go wrong!
Spa
A relaxing day at the spa is a must! The resort has a beautiful spa garden full of fresh herbs which are infused into natural oils used during your massage. There is also a beautiful lounging area where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the island. The spa offers body rituals, massage therapies, facials and salon services, all with the personalized touch!
See green monkeys scamper across the paths and trails in search of food or cavort on the ground in their natural forest habitat or set sail wind surfing. In our case – we spent the majority of our stay beach bumming it! There is also a daily workout schedule with beach front yoga and bootcamp classes for you fitness junkies out there:).
