While new shopping destinations seem to be popping up around the Metropolitan DC area, one of the city’s best kept secrets has just gotten even better. Inculcated from traffic and suburban sprawl, the Fashion Centre at Pentagon is one of the few shopping centers that’s conveniently located and has it’s own designated Metro stop which means less time in the car and more time to shop. It recently went through a multimillion dollar makeover and the result is more square footage of fabulous. I was lucky enough to take a tour and shop some of their newest store. See my recap below:
Majority of the renovation focused on Hayes Street, which saw updates to the mall’s exterior, including the addition 50,000 square foot of street facing shops and restaurants including Zara, Shake Shack, Matchbox and Honeygrow (other favorites included Hugo Boss & Tumi). In addition to the new look and stores enhancements, Fashion Centre at Pentagon City recently launched its Valet Parking Service at the new Hayes Street entrance to provide another convenient parking option for shoppers – yes please!
