“We never go out of style”, sings Taylor Swift as I sit in a coffee shop writing this post. It’s only appropriate to reference Swift as I spent a greater part of the year reading about Swift or hearing my nieces blast her album on repeat. I kicked off 2015 at Milan fashion week and subsequently found myself rushing through airports in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Bali, Milan, Copenhagen, Paris, London, Tokyo, with a break in Napa Valley for my wedding. While I’m fortunate to be doing a job which I love, it was marrying the man of my dreams in the presence of my family and close friends that was the highlight of my year. And the setting, Meadowood Napa Valley, wasn’t too bad to boot. I couldn’t write a 2015 post without mentioning some of my friends: Chanel, Celine, Isabel (Marant), Chloe, Azzedine, and of course Gianvito. You never let me down and for that I’m (literally) indebted to you through American Express.
The Year In Style
Many airport delays, lots of jet lag and US Weekly’s later, I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to travel across the globe to meet designers, stylists, and fellow bloggers. I also close my look book on 2015 humbled and grateful that I was able to reach 50,000 Instagram followers. What started out as a hobby, is now a career and I truly appreciate each and every one of you for your support. I promise to do my part to continue to cover the world’s of fashion, design, and travel in the hopes of inspiring you to become your very own style star.
So as my final 2015 post, I will quote Swift again by sending you a kiss with my “red lip, classic” YSL lipstick.
