The Bridal Salon at Saks Jandel: Peter Copping’s debut Oscar de la Renta Bridal Collection

I’ve teamed up with Saks Jandel (where I purchased my gorgeous Oscar de le Renta wedding dress) to fill you in on Peter Copping’s debut of the late designers collection in efforts to continue his legacy.

Peter Copping’s debut Oscar de la Renta bridal collection continued the legacy of the late designer, with gowns that epitomized classic elegance.

Copping was appointed Creative Director of Oscar de la Renta by Mr. de la Renta himself before passing. Copping is new to bridal and new to New York, having spent 20 years in Paris with designers such as Christian Lacroix, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, and Nina Ricci.

Fall 2015 is Copping’s first collection for Oscar de la Renta. The gowns exude a European glamour with sophisticated necklines, shear skirts and delicate embroideries. Copping teases the eye pairing corsetry with exquisitely feminine laces, and delicate beading with structured and crisp lines. The new collection truly represents Oscar de la Renta’s design aesthetic while hinting at the glamorous touches of Peter Copping. This first collection is a dream, exactly what every bride wants for her wedding day.
