For those of you that have tried GHD straighteners there really isn’t much else to say but – life changing! For those of you that have been deprived of this life changing tool, let me educate you. I really take care of my hair and naturally have always been a fan of GHD straighteners. I purchased one from Nordstrom years ago and recently this mint Candy Styler was gifted to me from the lovely folks at GHD. Not only do I use it to straighten my hair but I can also create a wavy effect with it. It honestly cuts down my styling time in half, which is great. Here are some quick tips on how to get a straight or wavy look using GHD’s Candy Styler.
Straight Look (my sister) 1. Divide air dried hair into two sections horizontally. 2. Place clips and smooth out with fingers. 3. Take small sections and run the straightner down from the root. 4. Repeat until all sections are complete and smooth. Wavy Look (me)1. Divide air dried hair into two sections. If you have thicker hair divide into three. 2. Take a small section of hair and start wrapping it around the straightener in an outward motion. 3. Slowly pull the hair out in a rounded motion. Repeat until all sections are complete. 4. Make sure your wrapping the hair in an outward motion away from your face. Candy Styler image via
