Style Challenge #4: Holiday Vest

Happy Monday lovely readers! I hope you had a wonderful holiday filled with lots of good food and good company. I relished every moment of my holiday, spending quality time with my adorable nieces, who for some odd reason think I am Santa’s little elf. Maybe it has something to do with turning this not so fancy Christmas vest into something wearable?

For round four of the Jane By Design interview process (see 1, 2, and 3) we were challenged to turn a not so fabulous Christmas vest into “something spectacular”. I had to use every ounce of creativity to come up with a lace sweater skirt. With lots of lace, cutting, and sewing, I was able to style a festive holiday inspired outfit, with my not so lovely Christmas vest.
