Dressing in one color has returned in force this Fall as Gigi, Kendall, and a host other young actresses have popularized this look by strutting the streets of New York in one tone. Monochromatic (wearing separates of one color) can be an elegant, clean and simple silhouette and so I was eager to test this trend out for myself. For a minimal effect, I paired a similar colored trench vest with a silk satin top I already had in my closet. I then styled them with some flared crop denim and comfy slides for a complete look. It may be minimal, but it’s maximum on style.
