Remember my last post with Dell and Intel here? We’ll now I’ve had a good amount of time to use the new Dell XPS 13 to share a more in depth review with you lovely readers.

I will start by telling you that my favorite feature of the Dell XPS13 has been the size and weight of it. For me mobility is key when it comes to traveling with my laptop. My MacBook Pro is pretty heavy so it’s nice to be able to travel with a lighter laptop than can easily slip into my handbag.

Next  — the battery life is unreal! I went two east to west coat plane rides without having to charge my laptop once. From watching movies to writing blog posts, the quick start up and battery life made it a breeze to use. The best part — I didn’t need to look for an outlet at every airport I was at to recharge before my flight.

Lastly, I have been really surprised the the vibrant screen and strong audio quality of the Dell XPS 13 ultrabook. With other laptops I’ve had to buy a separate external speaker since the audio was always too low for me when I was watching a movie or show. Now I don’t need any external audio devices which is great! I have to be honest — I hate carrying more than I need to when traveling.

Overall, I have been so happy with the XPS13. My mom is in the market for a new laptop and I can’t wait for her to try mine so she can get a Dell too. Also, be sure to check out some great  XPS 13 mobile accessories.
